Online Safety
Within school, each child has access to the internet to support their learning across different areas of the curriculum. To keep them safe, we ensure that our school has a filtering system which prevents any inappropriate content appearing on any searches or advertisements.
As well as this, within each year group, classes are taught about the risks and dangers when using the interent and are taught many ways of keeping themselves safe online. We promote good online behaviours and teach children the best ways to protect themself online through our e-safety units of work.
We are aware that the evergrowing and changing online world can be a confusing and also daunting place, especially as a parent or carer. Knowing the best ways to help keep your child safe at home when using the interent can seem quite over whelming, but below you will find key websites and guidance on many different areas of online safety.
