Welcome to Saturn Class!

Our Nursery is where your child's journey at Dee Point Primary begins and we aim to offer them the very best start! 

Mrs Long and Mrs Lawrence are the class teachers and Miss Rich, Miss Deane, Mrs Ashton and Mrs Smith are the teaching assistants. We all work together as a team to ensure that the children in Nursery are cared for and that their individual needs are met on a daily basis. 

Every day brings a new and exciting adventure for your child. We choose topics that your children are interested in and choose stories, nursery rhymes, songs and activities that we know they will enjoy.

During their time in Nursery, your child will develop in all seven areas of learning and development in the Early Years Curriculum: Communication and Language, Physical Development, Social & Emotional Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World and Expressive Arts & Design.

We learn through whole class sessions, play and exploration in our indoor and outdoor classrooms, and through our adult led small group activities.

We use SeeSaw to share photos and activities - don't forget to look at your child's page to find out more about their time with us in Nursery!
