Welcome to Neptune class page!
On here, you can find general info about our class, as well as seeing some of the learning we're up to each term.
However, do keep following our class twitter page (@DeePointNeptune), which will be added to more regularly with daily/weekly snippets of what we're up to in and out of the classroom. Also, keep an eye on SeeSaw as the children and grown-ups will be uploading their class learning to share with you at home.
Reading Books
Reading books and reading records should be brought in everyday with your child so we can see their enjoyment for reading at home too! Please can you make sure it is signed, dated and, if you have time, add a little comment in about how your child has done. Reading has a huge impact on their learning as well as their love for reading both now and in the future! Reading books will be changed on a Monday and Thursday.
In Neptune, children will receive the following for regular reading:
3 x per week = 1 token
4 x per week = 3 tokens and 10 minutes extra play
PE
This half term, the children will have Rugby on a Wednesday afternoon. Please send your children to school in their PE kit (joggers/shorts, PE top, jumper/hoodie and trainers).
On our class page you will find out about our Literacy, Maths and Topic learning if you click on the subject links above. For each subject you will find links to games or videos to support your child's learning. At the start of Year 3, we will provide you with a new SeeSaw and TTRockstars login.
We are always happy to help, so please do pop and see us before or after school if there is anything we can do to support you!
