On the tabs above, you will be able to find information about what we will be learning in English, Maths and Topic.
Atlas' Daily Routine:
8:40-9:00 - Children arrive and complete morning activity
9:00-10:00 - Phonics and Reading (shared and guided reading)
10:00-11:15 - English / Sensory Break
11:15-11:30 - Playtime
11:30-12:30 - Maths / Sensory Break
12:30-13:15 - Lunchtime
13:15-13:00 - Peer Massage/ Fine Motor Skills
13:30-14:00 - Topic lesson
15:00 - Hometime
Important bits to know:
Monday - We will be taking part in various LOTC (Learning outside of the classroom) acitivities. These will be aimed at building social skills, developing understandings of the world around us and improve gross motor skills.
Tuesday - On Tuesday we have a P.E lesson, so please bring P.E kits in. It is important for our Atlas class to develop personal skills such as dressing and undressing independently.
Wednesday - Swimming will be each Wednesday morning at Ash Tree Nursery. Please bring a swimming kit each Wednesday.
Friday - At Dee Point we celebrate "Feel Good Fridays" aimed at celebrating the achievements made by all children at school during the week. We wear our own clothes and take part in feel good activities in the afternoon.
