Pastoral Team
At Dee Point Primary School we are passionate that supporting pupil's social emotional mental health is vital in ensuring that they are ready to face the challenges of the day but that they are also able to access learning. We recognise that pupils will need different levels of support and that this will depend upon their own individual circumstances and may be impacted upon by many factors. Together the pastoral team are able to understand the needs of pupils and provide them with high quality nurture intervention, therapeutic experiences and bespoke therapies. The team work closely with all school staff but we also foster positive relationships with the parents and carers of the pupils we work with as a shared understanding and joint approach often leads to better support and outcomes for the pupil.
