Bog baby 

This beautiful story follows the journey of a girl who discovers a new pet,  only to realise that her home might not be the right habitat.

Nouns and adjectives - creating noun phrases to help describe (green wood, smooth skin,  flowing river)

use of the suffix est - this will help create comparisons in our descriptions (She looked up to survey the tallest trees she had ever seen)

using the conjuntion and to join two sentences together 

capital letters and full stops  to demarcate the start and end of a sentence 

These key skills will be built upon weekly until we are then ready to plan and write our very own circular story.
